Our bees up on the roof

The kitchen garden up on the roof of Upper House is in full bloom during the summer months, and the buzzing of 150,000 bees valiantly tries to compete with the noise of the city 27 floors below. Sweden’s highest apiary has been here for four years and in that time the colony has more than doubled without any outside help. Our rooftop plot is looked after with the greatest of care and both the herbs and spices grown up here, as well as the honey from our bees, are used in our restaurants’ dishes, as well as to flavour our own beer, which we brew in-house.
